It is with great sadness that on the 1st of March 2015 we had to say goodbye to our grand old gentleman Tamojen.

 

At 35 years of age, he was the patriarch of our family. He leaves a great legacy of wonderful horses all with his fabulous nature and intelligent personalities.

 

We are forever grateful to Les Hosking for giving us the opportunity with Tam all those years ago and also to Lucas Van Oijen for being the most wonderful compassionate vet.

 

Tamojens previous owners, Les & Margaret Hosking, from Pine Country Stud in Whyalla, came to visit the old man just prior to his 35th  birthday.    They had not seen him for a while and as you can see below - Les had a cuddle with his old mate!

 

Les said:  "Tamojen has a true heart only 14.1-3/4 he carried me as well as any 16.2 horse and never quit." - which sums Tam up perfectly.
